About HaasNode
HaasNode is a small collection of engineering notes from running a family of Node.js sites on Google Cloud Run with Cloudflare in front. Every guide is written after doing the thing for real, usually after it broke first.
What you will find
- Deployment: Express on Cloud Run, custom domains, certificates, health checks, scaling to zero.
- Content pipelines: Markdown to HTML, EPUB and PDF, image generation and resizing with sharp, sitemaps and hreflang.
- The Windows side: Git line endings, shells, and tools that behave differently on Windows than the docs assume.
How we write
Short guides with the exact commands, the error messages they fix, and the reasoning. We date every guide and update it when a platform changes. Where a guide links to a paid service, the link is marked ↗ and the disclosure explains how that works.
